At the Crossroads

The conviction in two schools of thought; which is so convincing, yet so divergent in ways.

When it is not just about the conviction of your heart; a concern for the people that you love, who stand on two diverging lanes, you on the third.

To a child, parents of whom are letting go of the tenets that held their union together. The Believe in love and in one great and beautiful, coming home to the bold and the tender hands - challenged.

At the point where one becomes two; tearing the bonds that held thus far, un-deciding on a decision.

When we have to make a decisions that should take us an eternity to, and yet given no time to decide. When we are at loss and we have to move on. When the pain is too much and we just wanna sit there and do some pity party for a while.

We always tend to hang at the decision point, long after the decision is made and we should have moved on. We have moved on. Physically not emotionally; we are still attached. We have let go from the hold of our hands; not spiritually, we still linger at the point of divergence.

It has never been easy. It is not that easy. It will never be easy. The secret is in knowing what the right way is, and keep going right. Healing goes to those who are on their way, not those who are rusting at the point of the crossroads.

You and I will be at crossroads in more than once in our lifetime; sometimes coming too soon as in a sequence. If we ever get there, when we get there, may we be resolute. Knowing what we want, what is needed of us, where we want to go and let’s go right there.

Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light for my path.
(Ps 119:105)
