THE SHARPENER

I have found much wisdom in the sharpener; when a person chooses to enlighten others with the deposit of wisdom in his heart.

Those who sharpen others end up becoming sharper themselves. The wise are always getting wiser. Iron sharpens iron.

People who openly share their wisdom end up being elevated by those who learn from them. Those who isolate themselves in the ego of their supposed wisdom end up hardening alone in the cold that is isolation.

Blessed are those who find wisdom,
   Prov 3:13

Wisdom grows. Wisdom is fueled through spreading it. The heart of the wise is a source; the words of his mouth, a spring that refreshes the hearer.

A bright idea, when shared, grows branches that reach out even the more. Wisdom veiled is wisdom without roots; it dries like dew on morning sunshine.

Wisdom is like the sun; it always comes out. Its light enlightens all. When it shines, it casts shadows that only the prudent decipher.

No sharpener seeks the tool. It is what every tool seeks. A sharpener that does its work will never lack. His is where the rest congregate.

We learn to also have others learn from us. We experience, to have the inexperienced gain it from and with us. The heart of being a leader is to show the way, a way that others may walk on, even when he is no more.

In the walls of fame, the autobiographies of legacy, there lies one consistence; a people who did not keep their wisdom to themselves.
The wise are generous with wisdom; the rest of us never get enough of it. Letting go, is freeing the hand to receive more.

What is celebrated is what is released. The wisdom within you is not yours only; if it were, you would have been created alone in an island.

The jealous holds back, they cling to the capacity within themselves.  They would rather die with it. They die and are forgotten.

That said, as wise as you are; there is more wisdom in listening than in talking. The wise never jump (talk) before they leap (listen). Leap, step, Jump.
